A HUGE THANK YOU to all who volunteered to make our Halloween Dance/Haunted House a huge success! PTSO cannot function without many helping hands for events such as these! Teachers and staff who volunteered: you are very much appreciated! Your dedication to our students is amazing! And parents: thank you so much for giving up your Friday afternoon/evening to help with set up, during the dance, and with clean up!
TUESDAY, OCT 31: NO COSTUMES OR MASKS MAY BE WORN AT SCHOOL. Student Council spirit day! While costumes (or masks) are not allowed, students can earn spirit points for their Homeroom by wearing black and orange as their dominant colors, or by wearing Halloween accessories.
WEDNESDAY, NOV 1: This is an ODD day; students go to their odd-numbered classes, plus Homeroom and Advisory.
WEDNESDAY, NOV 1 - WEDNESDAY, NOV 15: Time to collect non-perishable canned food items for our annual Thanksgiving food drive! For every three items donated, students will receive a dunk tank ticket! The dunk tank event will be held on Wednesday, November 22, during lunch and Advisory. Donated items will be given to the Hawaii Food Bank and the Schofield YMCA.
THURSDAY, NOV 2: Domino's Pizza Night! Just a heads up, so you can plan to NOT cook that night! Order pizza or any of their delicious menu items and our PTSO will earn ten percent of the entire day's sales! Just a reminder: only orders placed at the SCHOFIELD Domino's (call 622-3030 to place your order or you can also order online) will earn money for our school!
WEDNESDAY, NOV 8: Recognition of Champions. Eligible students (all A's and B's and NO disciplinary actions during first quarter) will receive an invitation (this Wednesday) for their parents to attend the ceremony on November 8. If you feel that your student is eligible for this recognition and you do NOT receive an invitation this Wednesday (students will get these from their Homeroom teacher), please email me and I can check into it for you. Parents can also log on to Infinite Campus to check their student's grades to verify eligibility.
